Matti Aapro, MD 

Dr. Aapro is the Past-President of the European Cancer Organisation (ECO), and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Genolier Cancer Center in Switzerland and earned his medical degree from the University of Geneva.

As a dedicated leader in oncology education and advocacy, Dr. Aapro holds an Executive Board position at the European School of Oncology (ESO) and leads the Sharing Progress in Cancer Care (SPCC) association. He has held prominent roles with the International Society for Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) and the Multinational Association for Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC). Additionally, he serves as Honorary Editor of Critical Reviews in Oncology/Hematology and is the founding editor of the Journal of Geriatric Oncology. His numerous accolades include Doctor Honoris Causa of the University of Tampere, the 2012 ASCO B.J. Kennedy Prize, and the MASCC Distinguished Services Award.

Shushan Hovsepyan, MD

Dr. Shushan Hovsepyan is a pediatric oncologist and adjunct assistant professor at Yerevan State Medical University. She earned her medical degree (M.D.) and completed a fellowship in pediatric oncology and hematology at Yerevan State Medical University. Her training continued at the National Institute of Cancer in Milan, Italy, and St. Anna Children’s Research Hospital in Austria. Dr. Hovsepyan is also an alumna of the Postgraduate Program at Harvard Medical School. She was a co-chair of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP) Global Health Network Education and Training Working Group. Currently, she is the co-chair of the SIOP GHN Research and Innovation Working Group. She is the Innovation and Development Director at the Immune Oncology Research Institute.
