This open-access collection, published in collaboration with the Asia and Middle East Society for Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology (AMSTRO), highlights contemporary research and practice insights in radiation oncology — spanning advanced radiotherapy techniques, treatment planning and physics, combined modality approaches, technology-driven innovation, and delivery of high-quality care across diverse and resource-variable settings.

AMSTRO 2026 took place February 6–8, 2026 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The conference served as a global platform dedicated to advancing therapeutic radiation oncology, with a strong emphasis on education, collaboration, and the standardization of care across Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.

The meeting convene a multidisciplinary radiation oncology community — including radiation oncologists, medical physicists, radiation therapists, dosimetrists, researchers, and trainees — to discuss real-world challenges, emerging clinical data, and innovative strategies shaping the future of radiotherapy worldwide.
